Ilia Averbukh used to skate
with Marina Anissina and was a two time World Junior Champion with her before he fell in
love with Irina Lobatcheva and decided to skate with her. The couple is married by now.
They train in the USA but they miss Russia and their families very much.
"The Mask" (Free Dance 1996/97)
and "Tutti Frutti" (Original Dance 1997/98) are highlights in ice dance. Their
goal is to win an Olympic Gold medal.
