At 36 years (1999), Denise Biellmann still
is one of the best professional skaters and easily could compete on eligible level if she
wanted.
The Swiss is mostly known for the spin that
was named after her, but she also excells in high and easy jumps. Denise Biellmann turned
pro immediately after winning her World title in 1981 and won countless pro titles and
competitions since.
She was the first lady to complete a triple
lutz in competition. |
| However, Denise never liked
the compulsory figures.
The Swiss is able to interpret all kinds of music and her
programs reflect a huge varierity of styles. You see her skate to techno music as well as
to romantic songs or movie soundtracks.
