Ilia Kulik started to skate
on a frozen pond not far from his parents' house. They soon realized that he is talented
and sent him to the famous Army Sportsclub ZSKA in Moscow.
After working many years with Viktor
Kudriavtsev, Ilia joined Tatiana Tarasova in 1996 but left her after he became Olympic
Champion in Nagano. Ilia lives in the USA now and skates in tours and shows. In 1999 he
turned pro. |
