| Michael started
skating at the age of four in Odessa. He was twice the Junior Champion of the USSR.
Michael has been discriminated in former USSR due to his jewish religion and got no chance
to compete for his nation in international championships. So he quit competitive skating
and went to an ice show. In 1991 he emigrated to Israel and continued his skating career.
