Marina already had skated with
five other partners before teaming up with Andrei Bushkov. Success
came quickly to this technically strong couple - they won the 1993
European Championships in Helsinki.
Unfortunaly their career suffered from injuries
and bad luck later. At the 1998 Europeans, Andrei's blade broke
during the short program and the Russians were forced to withdraw.
They fell out of favor of the judges later and placed low at Worlds.
Eltsova/Bushkov turned professional. |
